Hello and welcome to my blog.
As this is my first post I thought it would be the ideal place to introduce myself, and give you a brief description of the type of content I’m going to be posting.
To start off, with my name is Alice, I’m a twenty something girl, living in the Yorkshire Dales.
I’m writing this blog as a guide for new and expectant parents who are trying to navigate their way through the vast world of baby products.
Stepping into Mothercare or Mamas and Papas can be a daunting prospect, especially if it’s your first experience of doing so.
Seeing the rows and aisles filled with items you ‘need’ for your new baby, can make the shopping list seem endless. When you’re expecting a new baby it kind of comes with the territory that you will need to buy nappies and wipes, but what about those big ticket items?
Knowing whether you have made the correct choice for you and your baby can be fraught with difficulties. Realising a few months down the line that you have bought something not suited for your needs, can possibly add to the already high costs of having a baby.
With my 6 years’ experience of working within Early Years and most recently the help of a 1 year old tester, I have been able to try and test out a wide range of products aimed at the new parent market.
This blog is going to be a place for me to share and review a whole host of baby gear, from the big expensive items to the small inexpensive gadgets promoted at ‘supposedly’ making life easier for new parents. I will also probably be throwing in a few shopping hauls, as I seem to have an addiction to buying baby clothes.
I will be publishing new content at least twice a week.
Thanks for reading!
